Any platformer fan who was interested in the Xbox Live title Braid will be excited to know that Jonathan Blow’s Braid is going to be released on the PC early next year. The game was originally set for late 2008, but it was decided that it would be delayed until after the holiday season.
“I had originally announced the release date for the end of 2008, but for various reasons, this hasn’t happened,” Blow says. “Once we slipped into mid-October and all the big Christmas-season blockbusters started coming out, it just seemed like a bad idea to schedule Braid for that time period, as it seems likely it’d get released and then disappear.”
Jonathan Blow has already been in talks about releasing on the Mac, but any other platforms aren’t known as of now. If you have a Xbox 360 and you haven’t tried this yet, you owe it to yourself to at least play the trial game.
