It was rumored recently that Warren Spector was working on a game codenamed “Epic Mickey”, to be released on an unknown console. Supposedly is going to be a steampunk styled game, and most likely a Nintendo Wii exclusive.
The game supposedly will be an extremely innovative and different game, to be fun and most likely looked up upon on the Wii console. Epic Mickey will have you painting through levels, apparently, having you do tasks as extensive as drawing or erasing whole levels. This information supported by some of the concept art released, which mention painting.
The story is supposedly based around an unfamiliar Disney characters rise up against Mickey. A seemingly intense plot for a Disney game, it seems. But the game sounds amazing, to say the least. Very creative. This game hasn’t been officially verified by Disney as of yet, however, so keep your eyes peeled for more information. I’m hoping Epic Mickey pulls through.
Stardock announces the release of a multiplayer Demigod demo for PC gamers, finally, allowing all of you interested in it to get a taste. Stardock’s Demigod is a game defined as a RPG/RTS hybrid influenced by some of the leading RTS’s available, such as Warcraft.
Stardock had a problem trying to think of how they can provide a fun and relative experience in the demo without trying to give the players too much, having to limit them so they get the real game. They decided to provide a demo with one map and four available demigods.Regulus, Rook, Sedna and Lord Erebus will be available for you to play with, on all multiplayer modes.
That is the best solution I see to the problem. Giving the potential player access to the demigods to play with on all the multiplayer modes, limited to one map. It gives them the chance to experience the game, while not revealing too much. With only 8 Demigod characters to choose from, you get half of what you should expect if you decide to get the full game. This game is one of the best RTS’s on the market right now, since it’s fixed it’s networking issues.
The games offers many outcomes depending on the players and the options chosen. The presentation and features in this arena combat game are amazing. If you haven’t checked out Demigod already, you should try it out with the Demigod Demo available on Fileplanet.

The Naughty Dog co-president announced it on his twitter that Uncharted 2 will not require an install.
Now you can immediately hop into your gaming session when you get your Uncharted 2, so enjoy it well!
Ubisoft has announced on their official forums that there will be a Splinter Cell Conviction Delay for your benefit. For those of you who don’t know, Splinter Cell Conviction is one of their biggest announced titles that they have lined up for release. Ever since E3, this game has been in the spotlight for it’s innovative new features and how it’s pushing the Splinter Cell series forward as one of the best spy games available to date. When someone speaks of delay’s, people think badly of it. But this Splinter Cell Conviction Delay has been done for your benefit, to make sure you get the best experience possible out of the game.
The post they made on the official Ubisoft forum’s was done in the tone that they were trying their hardest for the game. They acknowledged how they set the bar high with the previous Splinter Cell game, and how now, they have to make sure that they are continuing the trend of high quality and enjoyment as always. It is, afterall, one of their most important games. Correct me if I’m wrong, but one of the only other games of it’s genre that compete’s with it is the Metal Gear series. They decided to push back the release date to live up to the hype, and make sure that no bugs will be present in the end result. So I ask you, would you rather a rushed release and a buggy game or a delayed release and a smooth bug free game? The Splinter Cell Conviction Delay is indeed a good thing.
The release date has been pushed back to Q1 2010. So we have the rest of the year to wait for Splinter Cell Conviction’s release on the Xbox 360 and other platforms. Ubisoft isn’t taking any chances with this game, it seems. They made it clear, though, that there won’t be any major changes or additions to what was shown at E3, due to the Delay. The delay just ensures that the development team has more time for minor tweaks and edits to ensure smooth gameplay and a bug free experience. So I hope you now think of the Splinter Cell Conviction delay as a good thing, instead of a nuisance.
A new video has been released by Infinity Ward detailing the new Modern Warfare 2 Killstreak Reward information. I’m not even sure if the game is still called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or not, but that’s not the point. This video revealed information on the much wondered about Killstreak in the upcoming Modern Warfare sequel, revealing the first killstreak reward you get, being the AC130 air strike.
This video revealed that you will be able to customize your killstreaks in Modern Warfare 2. The default killstreak will be an air strike like none before. It’s called an AC130 air strike and you pull out your laptop, in game, to initiate it. This air craft seems more deadly than the helicopter from Call of Duty 4. The AC130 can rain missles down on an enemy, instead of the one occasional rocket shot by the Helicopter in CoD4. This aircraft also shoots rapid fire bullets, as did the helicopter. This is seeming more useful than it’s predecessor already. Not only that, but you’re also able to target and shoot it down with your rockets.
Not only that, but there are many more killstreak bonuses to unlock, and you can customize which ones you call. The video Infinity Ward released was the first video to show any multiplayer gameplay, and the game play is looking amazing. The environments look crisp, fresh, and well made. There is destructible environments to a degree, as seen by when the plant house is hit by the rockets. The graphics also look a bit better. Modern Warfare 2 is shaping up to be better than it’s predecessor in every way, and it’s already better than it in terms of killstreaks.
Also, the sequel to Modern Warfare 3 was hinted, as it’s number was listed after 2 at the end of the video. This video showing off the Modern Warfare 2 Killstreak Reward is a must see, so go visit the video.
