For those of you eagerly awaiting Dragon Ages: Origin, you’ll have to wait another two weeks to get it, it’s officially been delayed until November 3rd. The rumors by retailers from yesterday have been confrimed.
In an interview with IGN, Bioware revealed that Dragon Age: Origins will be released on November 3rd in North America. For Europe, it’ll see release November 6th, and the Playstation 3 version will be released later during the month. Though Bioware was originally targetting an October release, and attempting to stick to it.
Though they claimed that they are sticking to a late October release, it’s apparent that it was wishful thinking on their part, and it’s been pushed back until early November. At least it’s still going to be released fairly quickly. Most AAA titles delayed were delayed for months, maybe even a full year. If I was a fan of this game, I’d personally prefer this delay over most of the delays seen in the gaming industry recently.
