A lot of gamers are quite curious as to what Microsoft will have to offer at the Tokyo Game Show this year. It is shaping up to be something interesting, I haven’t had a year where I was actually disappointed in the Tokyo Game Show. I’m hoping Microsoft will do a good job with presenting the great games that will be available for play, but an official list of the games to be displayed at TGS has been released.

Now, not all of the games to be displayed will be actual playable demos. Some games will be playable demos, and others will be trailers. You can expect that some of the soon to be released titles will be demos, but games that have a further release date will most likely just be a trailer, like Fable III.

  • Forza Motorsport 3 (Demo, Trailer)
  • Alan Wake (Trailer)
  • Fable III (Trailer)
  • Halo 3: ODST (Demo, Trailer)

  • Tekken 6 (Demo, Trailer)
  • STEINS;GATE (Demo, Trailer)

Now you may see why I may be a bit excited about this years Tokyo Game Show. An Assassin’s Creed II demo, Tekken 6 demo, a Modern Warfare 2 demo, and another trailer for Fable III. This is a pretty powerful line up for the Xbox 360, I think, though I’m not actually aware of the games to be showed by Sony. I’m not even considering what Nintendo has to offer, since their game line up is utterly uninteresting in my eyes. But anyway, it’ll be interesting to see what Lionhead Studio’s does with Fable II. In my opinion, Lost Chapters was the best Fable by far, and I’m hoping for Fable III to take that title. The list above is the official list that Microsoft released of the Tokyo Game Show line up.
