Bionic Commando

Not much to post about today, seems like a slow weekend in gaming news. Not much interesting happening anyway. But if I were to recommend anything to you, it would have to be Bionic Commando. I just played the Bionic Commando demo today, and the game is quite amazing. The game is already out as well. The multiplayer is tons of fun, zip lining to enemies and kicking them off roofs. No scoping people, escaping from people by swinging away. There’s a lot to do in the game.

It’s gotten decent ratings over all, IGN rated it an 8.0/10. It defintely wouldn’t hurt to have in your collection. In terms of a fun game to play, maybe with your friends or just for some quick action, this is a good game to get. If it’s not a buy, it’s at least a rent.

Bionic Commando Demo coming soon

Capcom announced today that, on the Xbox 360, the Bionic Commando demo will be coming to Xbox Live later this month. However, there are no news on the Playstation 3 Bionic Commando demo as of yet, or if there will be one. The Bionic Commando demo will feature Vertigo, one of the 16 maps to be available, and it will have an eight player deathmatch.

This deathmatch sounds like it’ll be tons of fun. Not your average run and gun game, but you’ll be swinging around avoiding bullets and pursuing your enemy. Grabbing them, grabbing ledges and what not. Falling off of high buildings to their death. What’s not to like about this game? It may not be a game of the year contender, but it definitely sounds like some quick fun to be had. This game is going to be released on May 19th, for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Perks to come with Capcom Debit Cards

Capcom Debit Cards
Capcom Debit Cards

Capcom has just signed a deal to place their characters and game titles onto Debit Cards. Judging from the picture to the left, the cards seem to be pretty stylish I think. If my bank offered cards like those, I’d definitely pick one up.  The first of it’s kind will be on the Visa Debit Card in North America.

Benefits also come for getting these prepaid cards. Getting one of these prepaid cards, you can earn points on Capcom-Unity.com, get cash back on online and retail purchases and get “accelerated rewards” from the Capcom rewards mall. For every dollar placed on the card, they earn five Capcom Unity points, which can be used for a variety of things. Unity card owners will also be able to skip lines at Capcom events,  gain access to Beta tests and other special things, such as “being written into a Capcom game or comic book or possibly even being an extra in a Capcom movie.”

This is an exciting idea to say the least.
