With the release of Street Fighter IV rearing around the corner, on February 17th for Japan and February 20th for US, the achievement list for the game has been released. This game has a total of 47 achievements that will rack in a total of 1000 gamerscore.10 Years Too Early – 20 – Win 50 Xbox LIVE battles.

10 Years Too Late – 50 – Win 100 Xbox LIVE battles.

All Dolled Up – 10 – Set your Title and Icon.

Arcade Rat – 20 – Clear Arcade Mode with one character on medium or higher difficulty.

Challenge Expert – 30 – Clear all challenges in Challenge Mode.

Challenger – 10 – Clear a challenge in Challenge Mode.

Color Guard – 10 – Unlock all colors.

Crowd Pleasing Master – 10 – Perform 10 Personal Actions (Taunts).

EX-cellent Master – 20 – Perform 100 EX-Moves.

First Victory – 20 – Win 1 ranked match.

Focus Master – 10 – Perform 100 successful Focus Attacks.

The Gold Standard – 50 – Earn gold medals in all challenges.

Hard Fought Battles – 20 – Play 200 Xbox LIVE battles.

I Got Next! – 30 – Win 5 ranked matches in a row.

Icon Master – 50 – Collect all Icons.

Playstation 3 to stay the most expensive console

Eurogamer has recently had an interview with David Reeves, and it seemed to confirm that Sony is planning on keeping the Playstation 3 as the most expensive console out of the competition. Throughout the interview, David didn’t really chose to make arrogant statements or avoid answering the questions, he was pretty honest about everything asked.

I think it will, yes. I’m not saying there are going to be any price cuts at all in the short term or the medium term. I’m not saying we don’t need to do it – we are expensive. It is possible that as the cost [of manufacturing] comes down, we will be able to do it.

He believes that if they stay strong, and stay up for another six or seven months, they’ll see a great uplift in sales.  Honestly, price cut or not, I’m going to be buying a PS3 regardless, God of War 2 and Final Fantasy XIII is too much to pass up. But for you kids, or for those of you who just don’t wanna dish out all that money for a Ps3, I hope for the best, heh. It seems as if Sony isn’t going to leave from their defensive position, and they are going to hold strong and continue to keep their prices the way they are.

Prince of Persia upcoming epilogue DLC

A lot of people felt cheated and angered by the ending of Prince of Persia. Some people try to justify it by saying “Can you really blame them with this economic situation that we’re in now?”. I won’t spoil it for you, but if you’re one of those people feeling cheated, this DLC might make you feel a bit better.

This DLC is going to be heading to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 26th, and pricing hasn’t been announced as of yet. This Downloadable Content will continue the events of the previous game, while also giving Elika new powers, attacks for the prince, a new location and new skins for when you beat this update. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like this update will be so bad. But still, I know a lot of you will feel cheated for having to pay for this anyway.

Massages from your Xbox 360 controller….

Tiring day from work, or maybe you’re just feeling worn out. A new game has just been made by the XNA soon to be able to download, called “Rumble Massage”.  Which promises to turn your controller into your own little portable massager.  Certainly an innovative product being made on the console,  I’ve never heard of anything being done like this before, heh.

Rumble Massage is available for download now, and the Demo and Full versions are available for download. The full version being 200 microsoft points.

I don’t want to think about the perverted possibilities to come from this game, but what ever, lol. You guys can keep that type of information to yourselves, hah.

Playstation 3 Firmware update crashing systems?

With Sony’s recent 2.60 Playstation 3 firmware update, the photo feature was added and some minor updates, but Users have been reporting that they are experiencing many problems with their system after the update.

One of the issues that are being talked about is the Playstation 3’s inability to recognize discs. This has something to do with the firmware update burning the lens. Also, system settings have been reset, and systems have been crashed due to the photo feature. This doesn’t mean downloading the update will automatically make this happen to you, as this has not happened to everyone, but it has happened to a sizable amount of people. You’d be better off waiting. Sony says that this is just a glitch, and not a hardware malfunction unlike the Red Rings of Death on the Xbox 360.

They say the fix will be made by a firmware update later on. The date of the release of this firmware update is not known, though.
